Barnaby is what happens when a senior cat decides retirement is overrated and attention is a full-time job. At 13 years young, this sweet, social boy is the definition of “friendly neighborhood heart-stealer.” Despite losing his beloved owner, Barnaby didn’t retreat inward. Instead, he leaned outward—toward people, toward connection, toward life—like he fully intends to keep collecting love as his main hobby. He is the kind of cat who believes personal space is optional and laps are community property. If there’s a room full of activity, Barnaby is not on the sidelines—he is center stage, contributing commentary, requesting pets, and gently reminding you that he is, in fact, the main character. Barnaby thrives on affection and companionship. He gets along wonderfully with everyone he meets and greets the world with an open, hopeful heart. If love is being distributed, he will not only be first in line, he will politely help organize the line. And don’t let the number 13 fool you for a second. Adoption Process

We hold phone interviews/screening process. If everything sounds good we then ask for a quick video chat, video tour or photos of the home to know exactly what kind of environment they'll be in. We may also come over an do a home tour with the cat. once we feel the cat and owner are a good match, you fill out the contract and pay adoption fee.
