In late summer 2022, Ally faced a life-altering autoimmune diagnosis. Beside her, Marcos stood strong despite his own struggles with PTSD. Together, they found themselves drawn to a local cat rescue — and discovered an unexpected source of comfort, love, and healing.
It quickly became clear that while adopters flocked to kittens, the adults and seniors were overlooked. Merlin was one of them — a quiet soul whose life blossomed with a heating pad, gentle steps, and tender attention. That season of caring for Merlin became the heart of Kitty Whispers Haven.
After discovering our true passion for helping cats of all ages, we realized our hearts were being pulled strongest toward adults and seniors. That's where the greatest need is — and where we feel we can make the biggest impact. We open our arms to elderly or disabled individuals who can no longer care for their kitty angels, ensuring their companions transition into a home filled with compassion and stability.
Many kitty angels lose their homes for reasons they will never understand. These are fully domesticated cats who once knew love, safety, and the comfort of a familiar voice. When that's taken from them, they can fall into depression and struggle to feel safe again. We believe every abandoned angel deserves a haven where their spirit can heal and their trust can be gently rebuilt.
