About Salem

Salem is not the type of cat who quietly decorates a room. He arrives, settles into your life, and somehow becomes part of the family story almost immediately. 🖤 This handsome boy is affectionate, social, and overflowing with personality. Honestly, he has one of the best personalities we have ever seen in a cat. Salem loves being around people and truly believes no moment should happen without him nearby. Cooking dinner? He’ll supervise. Watching TV? He’s available for commentary. Having a bad day? Salem is already on his way with emotional support and at least three opinions. He’s also wonderfully chatty and loves carrying on little conversations with his humans. Not in an “I demand snacks immediately” sort of way either, though snacks are certainly appreciated. Salem genuinely enjoys connection and being part of everyday life. After losing his owner earlier this year, Salem has been searching for that feeling of home again. Despite everything he has been through, he has remained incredibly loving, trusting, and open-hearted. What Salem wants most is simple: someone to adore him, include him, talk back to him when he chirps, and let him be the loyal little shadow he was always meant to be. Adoption Process

We hold phone interviews/screening process. If everything sounds good we then ask for a quick video chat, video tour or photos of the home to know exactly what kind of environment they'll be in. We may also come over an do a home tour with the cat. once we feel the cat and owner are a good match, you fill out the contract and pay adoption fee.
