## Meet MeowZee, aka Karen 💕🐾 **Age:** 6 years old in October **Breed:** Dilute Tortie, Domestic Shorthair **Sex:** Female **Weight:** Approximately 8 lbs **Spayed:** Yes **Vaccinated:** Yes **Microchipped:** Yes **Heartworm Negative:** Yes **Location:** Palma Sola (Bradenton), FL MeowZee, affectionately known as **Karen**, is a petite dilute tortie with a BIG personality and plenty to say. And yes, she absolutely earned the nickname Karen. 😂 This girl is very verbal and has no problem letting you know exactly what’s on her mind! Karen’s story began on the streets, where she was rescued as a feral kitten by a TNR group. Over the years, she has blossomed into a wonderfully quirky, independent girl who enjoys affection but also appreciates having her own space. Sadly, Karen lost her feline sister in a house fire during Hurricane Milton. 💔 Despite everything she has been through, she has adjusted remarkably well. She seems perfectly content as a solo kitty, although she currently shares her home with another cat and two small, friendly dogs. Karen prefers to observe her kingdom from above, so a tall cat tree is definitely her kind of real estate. 👑 She loves toys, especially stuffed mice, wand toys and ribbons, and she’ll happily chase them around. She’s still working on the whole “bring it back” portion of fetch. Apparently, that’s your job. She may not be your traditional lap cat, but Karen does enjoy being beside her person for pets and attention. She LOVES being brushed, especially with a Furminator, and is a big fan of a good, enthusiastic rubdown. She’ll tolerate being picked up and held, although she’d probably like to speak to management about it afterward. 😂 She even allows her nails to be clipped and ears cleaned without much fuss. At bedtime, you may catch her making biscuits in her cat bed before settling in for a cozy snooze. 🥹 Karen also takes her snacks very seriously. She loves treats, catnip and wet food, and she will absolutely remind you when she believes a treat is overdue. She does have a sensitive stomach and does best with several smaller meals rather than free-feeding, as eating too much at once can cause her to regurgitate. A lick mat works wonderfully for slowing her down. Karen is clean, tidy, barely sheds and takes excellent care of herself. Baths, however, are not included in her preferred spa package. This special little girl has already survived life on the streets, the loss of her sister and a devastating house fire. Now she deserves a safe, stable home where she can spend her days perched high on her cat tree, playing with her favorite toys, chatting with her people and ruling her kingdom exactly as she sees fit. Adoption Process

We hold phone interviews/screening process. If everything sounds good we then ask for a quick video chat, video tour or photos of the home to know exactly what kind of environment they'll be in. We may also come over an do a home tour with the cat. once we feel the cat and owner are a good match, you fill out the contract and pay adoption fee.
