About Mitts
**Meet Mitts! 🖤🤍🐾** Mitts is a handsome 2-year-old tuxedo boy with a little something extra... **extra toes!** This 12-pound polydactyl has some seriously impressive “mitts,” and a personality just as lovable. Mitts had been spotted wandering around an industrial area of St. Pete for a couple of months. Believing he may have been abandoned, three wonderful women decided it was time to get him somewhere safe. With the help of some good old-fashioned sardines, Mitts was finally rescued. He wasn’t microchipped, but he was wearing an old, worn collar. Everything about Mitts tells us that at some point, **this boy most likely had a home and someone who loved him.** He adjusted to being back indoors almost immediately and is incredibly relaxed and comfortable around people. He loves being picked up, happily eats Churus right from your hand, lounges near the other cats, and seems perfectly content just being part of whatever is going on. He’s sweet, laid-back, affectionate and honestly just one seriously cool cat. 😎 We have a feeling Mitts is going to make someone an incredible best friend. Mitts will be fully vetted and neutered next week and will then be ready for his forever home. In the meantime, **he is accepting meet & greets!** 📍 Downtown St. Pete 📞 **Contact Alexis: 207-522-6843** Call or text to meet Mitts. 🐾

Adoption Process
We hold phone interviews/screening process. If everything sounds good we then ask for a quick video chat, video tour or photos of the home to know exactly what kind of environment they'll be in. We may also come over an do a home tour with the cat. once we feel the cat and owner are a good match, you fill out the contract and pay adoption fee.
